{"id":599,"date":"2019-08-24T11:46:55","date_gmt":"2019-08-24T09:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dtn.net\/?page_id=599"},"modified":"2019-12-18T12:08:23","modified_gmt":"2019-12-18T11:08:23","slug":"the-future-of-learning-in-preparation-for-life-in-2020","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.dtn.net\/?page_id=599","title":{"rendered":"The Future of Learning in Preparation for Life in 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Future of Learning in Preparation for Life in 2020+<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A foresight scenario planning investigation into the future of learning for Europe\u2019s second biggest educational publisher Sanoma Learning and Literature.&nbsp; This global scenario planning and foresight process brought business leaders from 5 countries together and looked outward to innovation in learning across the globe from China, India, Japan, to the United States and Europe.  How has education been organised over the last 200 years, and how would it change in the next 20? &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How will we match the formalisation of learning or education as we have come to call it to a rapidly changing society driven by digitisation, globalisation, resource constraints, climate change, etc in a context of slow institutional renewal.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In facilitated discussions, creative workshops and innovation accelerators the executive team created a shared language and perspective to build a robust strategy and leading initiatives for different futures. In the following year the strategy was adopted by parent company Sanoma as its own digital transformation strategy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img
